The Real-Life Experiences Behind My Fiction
Although my books are fictional, many emotions inside them are very real.
Growing up during conflict and displacement changes the way you see the world. You begin to understand fear early. You understand uncertainty. You understand survival.
Those experiences shaped the atmosphere inside my stories.
In The Revenge of the Needles, fear spreads faster than truth.
In The Man at the Tower, people struggle to hold onto memory and identity.
In The Battle of New Yorke, humanity stands between destruction and awakening.
These themes did not come from nowhere.
As someone who rebuilt life in a new country, worked with families in crisis, interpreted for medical emergencies, and helped people navigate difficult systems, I have seen how fragile life can become.
But I have also seen resilience.
That is why my stories are not only about darkness.
They are also about survival.
